¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à This standard specifies protocols, procedures and managed objects, usable by existing higher layer mechanisms that allow network resources to be reserved for specific traffic streams traversing a bridged local area network. This standard characterizes resource requirements of traffic streams to a level sufficient for bridges
to determine the required resources and provides a mechanism for dynamic maintenance of those resources. More specifically, this standard specifies the use of Dynamic Reservation Entries in the filtering database to control the forwarding of frames associated with a particular stream, and also specifies a Stream Reservation
Protocol (SRP) facilitating the registration, de-registration and maintenance of stream reservation information in relevant bridges to establish end-to-end stream paths.
