| 한글내용요약 | 바이오인식은 개인 생체정보의 특성을 활용하여 개인을 식별하는 데 널리 사용된다. 이러한 생체학적 특성은 노화, 질병, 부상 등 다양한 요인으로 인해 시간이 지남에 따라 변할 수 있고, 이러한 정보의 변동성은 바이오인식 기술을 활용하는 응용 시스템의 성능에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 특히 재난상황, 개인 응급상황, 미아 및 치매노인, 의식을 잃은 환자의 확인 등 신속한 개인의 식별이 중요한 분야에서는 바이오인식으로 신원확인을 수행하는 시간과 시도회수의 관리가 매우 중요하다. 따라서 바이오인식 정보의 변동여부를 관리하여 과거 등록된 바이오인식 정보 뿐 아니라, 현재의 정보를 반영하여 사용자 신원을 확인하는 것이 중요하다. 이 표준은 바이오인식 정보의 변동 관리를 위하여 질환 등으로 인한 바이오인식 정보의 변동요인과 관리 요소를 명세하고, 요구사항을 정의한다. 사용자 동의, 변동 감지 및 확인, 변동 관리의 주기, 변동 관리 정보의 보호를 포함한 요구사항을 정의한다. 5절에서 생체 정보 변화를 발생시키는 주요 원인과 형태를 명세하고, 변동 관리 개념을 설명한다. 6절에서는 바이오인식 정보 변동 관리 요구사항을 정의한다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | Biometrics is widely used to identify individuals by utilizing characteristics of their biometric signatures. These biological characteristics can change over time due to a variety of factors, including aging, illness, and injury. Those variability of biometric information can affect the performance of application systems that utilize biometrics. In particular, managing the time and number of attempts to perform biometric identification is critical in areas where rapid identification of individuals is essential, such as disasters, personal emergencies, missing persons, elderly persons with dementia, and unconscious patients. Therefore, it is important to manage the variability of biometric information to ensure that the user's identity is verified based on the current information, not just the biometric information registered in the past. This standard specifies the factors and management techniques of biometric changes, and requirements for managing biometric information variability. It specifies requirements including user consent, change detection and verification, change management cycle, and protection of variability management information. Clause 5 specifies the main causes and patterns of biometric variation and describes the concept of variablity management. Clause 6 specifies biometric variation management requirements. | ||
