This Recommendation describes the requirements for mobility management to provide mobility for the users and services in the NGN environment. This Recommendation is intended to manage mobility in NGN based on Q.1706 that describes mobility management requirements, which are essential requirements for NGN users to communicate anytime and anywhere. This Recommendation is classified into several types of mobility management that will be provided from various wireline or wireless access technology to enable users to communicate over heterogeneous network environments, and also it is specified with consideration and requirement to be used mobility management. |
