This standard applies [OGC 10-025r1 Observations and Measurements - XML Implementation Version 2.0] specification defined by Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) activity of OGC Web Services (OWS) initiative. This standard includes conceptual model of observation and measurement, and description of a framework and encoding for the observation and measurement of geospatial sensors. The observation is an action with a result which has a value describing some phenomenon. Measurement is an observation whose reslut is a measure. |
