| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준에서는 IETF RFC 3277의 IS-IS 임시 블랙홀 회피를 위한 메커니즘을 정의한다. 재시동과 같은 원인에 의해 IS-IS 라우터가 과도 상태일 때 라우팅 도메인 내에 있는 다른 IS-IS 라우터들은 새로운 경로를 선택한다. 그러나, 과도 상태에 있던 라우터가 다시 가용한 상태가 되면 다시 원래의 경로를 최적 경로로 선택하게 된다. 이때, 외부 착신 reachability 정보(예, BGP를 통해 학습되는 정보)가 아직 그 라우터를 가용 상태로 판단하지 못하게 되는 블랙홀 현상이 발생한다. 본 문서에서는 이러한 블랙홀 현상를 회피하기 위해 overload bit를 사용하여 일시적으로 과도 상태 동안 설정된 경로로 패킷을 전송하는 메카니즘을 제공한다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | This document defines IETF RFC 3277, the mechanism to avoid IS-IS Transient Blackhole. When Is-IS router is transient condition for a reason such as a reboot, other routers within the routing domain select an alternative path. But, as the previously failed router becomes available again, the paths that had previously transited the router are again selected as the optimal path. Unfortunately, external destination reachability information is not yet available to the router, the blackholing of packets happens. This document provides the mechanism in order to avoid the blackhole using the Overload bit. | ||
