표준은 FRU(field Replaceable Unit)데이터와 같은 팬의 물리적인 측면, 모니터링 센서, 기타 냉각 장치, 중복 상태, 그리고 DMTF 프로파일 버전 정보에 대한 팬의 관계를 나타내는 연관관계 클래스로 정의한다. 본 표준은 데이터의 제공자 또는 사용자가 DMTF 의 공통정보모델(CIM, Common Information Model)의 핵심모델과 확장모델을 이용하여 “팬과 예비 팬”의 관련 설정 정보를 관리하기 위해 구현하고 사용해야 하는 클래스, 속성과 메쏘드, 그리고 그 값들을 명확히 정의할 수 있도록 충분한 정보를 제공해야 한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This document defines the classes used to describe the fans and the possible redundancy of
the fans in a managed system. The document also defines association classes that describe the relationship of the fan to the fan’s physical aspects, such as FRU data, to the sensors monitoring the fans, to other cooling devices, to redundancy status, and to DMTF profile version information. The information in this specification is intended to be sufficient for a provider or consumer of this data to identify unambiguously the classes, properties, methods, and values that are mandatory to be instantiated and manipulated to represent and manage fans and redundant fans of managed systems and subsystems that are modeled using the DMTF CIM core and extended model definitions. |
