| 한글내용요약 | 가변 폰트 기술의 주요 요소인 변형 축은 현재 로마자를 대상으로 5종의 공통 축과 다양한 사용자 정의 축들이 소개되고 있다. 가변 폰트 기술의 개발과 함께 전통적인 폰트 패밀리에서 가장 많이 사용되는 요소들을 변형 축으로 도출하고 있다.
이 표준은 한글 가변 폰트의 본격적인 사용에 대비하여 공통 변형 축을 도출하고 변형 축의 이름, 태그, 용도를 정리하였다. 공통적인 변형 축과 그 속성을 정의함으로써 향후 한글 가변 폰트를 제작하고 사용할 때 변형 축의 이름과 용도가 혼란스럽지 않게 사용되도록 하려는 목적이다. |

| 영문내용요약 | As for the variable axis which is the core of variable font technology, 5 types of common variation axes and various user-defined axes are being introduced for Roman font. With the development of variable font technology, the basic elements most used in the traditional font family were derived as the variation axes.
In preparation for wide use of Hangul variable font, this standard derives the common variation axes, and also organizes the name, tag, and the purpose of the variation axis. The purpose is to ensure that the name and purpose of the variation axis are not confused when creating and using Korean variable font in the future by defining common variation axes and their properties. |
