The purpose of standard is to provide the XML standard for workflow interoperability between two different workflow management systems(WfMSs). These systems can be the heterogeneous systems based on the different development methodology or can be the operational systems belonging to the different organizations. They can exchange the standard messages defined by this specification in order to initiate a target process, get the process instance data, or control the process instance in another system |
