¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | The purpose of this standard is to define a reference architecture of the cloud-based factory energy management service using cloud computing. In this architecture, overall energy management functions are provided by the cloud, and factory-dedicated functions are provided by the edge energy system that is part of each factory.
In particular, when a single business operates multiple factories, it is inefficient to operate a separate FEMS(Factory Energy Management System) for each factory. This would result in high installation and maintenance costs, inefficiency in factory energy management due to a lack of sharing knowledge and information related to energy management, and impossible to participate in energy services at the business-wide level such as demand response or energy trading. Through this standard, FEMS can be operated in the cloud computing platform to perform overall business-wide energy management tasks, and the edge energy system is operated internally within each factory to perform processing of sensitive data and controlling of urgent tasks within the factory. For this purpose, this standard defines reference architecture for the cloud-based factory energy management service utilizing edge computing. |
