| 한글내용요약 | 본 기술은 인터넷을 오프라인으로 확장하여, 일상 생활 속에서 웹 정보 및 서비스의 활용성을 증대시키는 인프라를 의미한다. 인터넷의 풍부한 정보들이 일상생활로 연결되어 사용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공하는 인프라를 지향하며, 오프라인 공간과 웹 사이트의 결합, Push-Pull 결합, 일상-네트워크 환경 결합을 통하여 새로운 정보 서비스 제공이 가능하다. 이를 위해 본 기술은 WPAN에서 방송과 통신이 모두 가능하며, IP/MPEG2-TS 등 이종 프로토콜간 정합 규격을 포함하고 지그비 프로토콜과 호환성을 확보 하였다. 본 기술에서는 Layer2 프로토콜로 불특정 다수에 효과적으로 정보전달이 가능한 방송기술(1:n)인 Sicasting 규격과 신뢰성 있는 정보전달이 가능한 양방향 통신 기술(1:1)인 지그비 MAC을 모두 이용하는 방송통신융합 구조를 정의하고, Layer3 프로토콜로 웹, 방송망 등 이종 프로토콜 정합을 위한 PAL 규격을 정의한다. PAL은 네트워크 관리, 이종 프로토콜간 정합, 프레임 압축 및 분할 기능을 제공하며, 이를 위한 참조 모델과 프리미티브, 프레임 포맷을 정의한다. | 영문내용요약 | Zone Casting extends Internet to the real world. It is an infrastructure that enhances usability of web information and on-line service. It is intended to extend useful information of Internet to everyday life, by providing connection between real site and web site, push service and pull service, and real life and network context. To realize this, the standard is designed to enable both broadcasting and communication in the low data rate WPAN environment, match different protocols such as IP/MPEG2_TS, and promise compatibility with ZigBee protocol In the standard layer 2 and 3 protocols are defined. Layer 2 protocol includes Sicasting which allows broadcasting to the unspecified individuals and ZigBee MAC which promises reliable information delivery. Layer 3 protocol is defined as PAL which fuses different protocols such as Web, broadcasting network. PAL provides network management, fusion of different protocols, frame compression and division, and the reference model, primitives, frame formats are defined for that purposes.
