| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 교통정보 및 제어시스템(TICS: Transport Information and Control System) 서비스를 지원하기 위한 5.8GHz 대역의 ITS전용 단거리 무선통신(DSRC: Dedicated Short Range Communication) 표준 중 개방형 시스템간 상호접속(OSI: Open System Interconnection) 참조모델을 기준하여 물리 계층(Physical Layer) 과 데이터링크 계층(Data Link Layer), 그리고 응용 계층(Application Layer)에 대하여 기술한 것이다.
이 표준은 도로변에 위치한 한 대의 노변장치의 통신영역을 통과하는 불특정 다수의 차량 단말기간 단방향 또는 양방향 단거리 통신링크를 제공할 수 있는 수단을 포함하고 있다. 이 표준에 의한 통신방법은 동기화된 반이중모드를 사용하며, 차량에서의 링크 초기접속은 적응형 Slotted ALOHA 방식을 근간으로 하고있다. 이 표준은 자동요금징수시스템(ETS)서비스 뿐만 아니라 교통정보 및 제어시스템의 제반 ITS서비스를 지원할 수 있도록 기술되었다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This standard specifies physical layer, data link layer and application layer of Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) at 5.8GHz for Transport Information and Control System (TICS) services, which is based on Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model.
This standard describes the communication mechanism and procedures between Road Side Equipment (RSE) and On-Board Equipment (OBE) which pass through RSE's communication zone, providing both point-to-point interactive communication and/or point-to-multipoint communication. The communication mode is characterized by synchronous half duplex communication. For communication initiation from OBE, adaptive slotted ALOHA access scheme is used. This standard intends for Transport Information and Control System (TICS) services such as Electronic Toll Collection(ETC) service. |
