| 한글내용요약 | 인증절차에 대한 기반구조를 기술하고 접근 제어기법에 대한 동작원칙을 정의하고 있으며, 지원 가능한 여러 단계의 접근 제어방법과 각 접근제어 단계에서의 프레임 송수신에 따른 포트의 처리동작 및 인증을 요청한 장치와 인증자 포트가 장착된 장치간의 프로토콜 요구사항을 정의한다. 또한 인증자와 인증서버 간의 프로토콜 요구사항, 인증/인가 프로토콜을 이용한 네트워크 접근 제어 절차와 방법 그리고 인증/인가 프로토콜시 사용되는 Protocol Data Units(PDUs)의 구성을 정의한다. 포트기반 접근 제어를 위한 망 관리 관점에서의 요구사항과 해당되는 관리대상객체 및 절차와 Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP)에 의한 원격관리 방법을 기술하고, 구현적합성 요구사항을 정의한다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | This standard describes the architectural framework within which the authentication and consequent actions take place. It defines the principles of the access control mechanisms and the different levels of access control that are supported, and the behavior of the port with respect to the transmission and reception of frames at each level of access control. Also, it defines the requirements for a protocol between the device that requires the authentication, the mechanisms and procedures that support network access control through the use of authentication/authorization protocol and the encoding of the Protocol Data Units (PDUs) used in authentication/authorization protocol. Finally, this establishes the requirements for management operations are made available to a remote manager using the protocol and architectural description provided by Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and specifies the requirements to be satisfied by equipment claiming conformance. | ||
