¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | This document specifies the requirements for and operations of the immediate messaging feature from the perspective of the user(s) and/or the system operator. Immediate Messaging(IM) is one of the most popular services on the Internet because of its near real-time, interactive nature. IM, using Presence information, allows uers to determine when their friends are online and communicate with them in near real-time. In other words, the following two aspects are comprised in IM:
*Presence Presence systems enable a user to monitor the connection state or presence of other users. See [3GPP2 TSG-S S.P0062 Presence] for the stage 1 description of the presence service. *Near Real-Time and Deferred Messaging IM services enable a user to send immediate message to other users. In most cases, the conversation is initiated by selecting a user from a user defined list, and is alerted to the recipient users. Messages exchanged between specific parties may be displayed as a threaded conversation |
