¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | The 3D smart input devices is a novel devices for next-generation computing devices, that can measure the motion or gesture of a user without external devices or effects. It uses the inertial system technology used in aerospace or military application, however provides different types of data.
The devices should be re-classified and characterized by its sensing type, measuring data, measured frame, and output data type. The raw data such as acceleration and angular rate can be the output data as well as orientation (attitude) and position. The measured orientation or position can be the relative value of absolute value by means of its reference frame. The position measured in navigation or platform frame is absolute position, however the position measured in device frame is relative value and there can be misalignment errors between reference frames, which results in unexpected motion. For example, if a user dose not face the platform or display and the device frame is aligned to the platform frame, the user defined x-direction is different from the platform frame x-direction. To avoid these confusion, the standardization, classification and characterization of 3D smart input devices is very important. The proposed standard provides the criterion for characterizing the 3D input devices. |
