DIDL(Digital Item Declaration Language) 아이템으로 정의, 프레젠테이션 영역에 표현을 위한 코드를 추가하여 IPTV 콘텐츠 재생에 따른 내비게이션 정보를 IPTV 콘텐츠 정보와 같이 제공한다. 사용자에게 제공되는 다양한 IPTV 콘텐츠 접근에 필요한 내비게이션 사용자 인터페이스(UI, User Interface) 및 서비스 정보가 모바일 기기에 아이템 정보로 나타나므로 사용자는 관심 있는 콘텐츠에 접근할 수 있다. 또한 아이템 정보를 표현함에 있어 텍스트, 이미지, 영상, 링크 등의 다양한 방법으로 표현 가능하며, 이는 또 다른 콘텐츠 및 다양한 정보들로 연결되어 서비스할 수 있다. 그리고 콘텐츠 내용에 관한 상호작용을 통해 사용자는 콘텐츠에 관해 직접 참여가 가능하며 그 외의 다양한 형태로 콘텐츠 정보들을 제어할 수 있다. 이 정보들은 어떻게 IPTV 화면에 어느 위치에 어떠한 방법으로 표현될 것인지에 대한 정보 표현 방식의 표준안을 기술한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | In the Open IPTV system, this standard defines the MPEG-21 DIDL item expressing
the web-based IPTV contents and provides IPTV contents information along with navigation information according to IPTV contents playback by adding code for expression in the presentation field. It presents navigation UI and service information which are needed for users to access various IPTV contents in form of item information on mobile device, so users can easily access to the contents upon their interest. Also, when expressing the item information, it can present various methods including text, image, picture and link. This can be connected with other contents and various information and service. Also, through the interaction of content details, the users can participate to the content and control content information in various forms. We would like to provide the standard proposal about how the information expresses in what location in the IPTV screen. |
