| 한글내용요약 | 현재 국내외 가전 업체에서는 자신들의 제품을 인터넷에 연결시켜 다양한 서비스를
사용자에게 제공하기 위한 노력을 하고 있다. 하나의 예로 건강 관리(health care) 제품 제조사 중 한 업체에서는 체중계를 WiFi 와 연동시켜 사용자가 체중을 측정하면 자동으로 그 데이터가 클라우드 서버에 업로드 되고, 사용자는 스마트 폰을 사용하여 자신의 몸무게와 체지방의 변화량을 쉽게 확인할 수 있는 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 차별화를 위한 노력에서 가장 걸림돌은 인터넷과 전자 제품에 익숙하지 않은 세대에게 장치 및 사용자를 서버에 등록하는 초기 설정 과정이나, 유지 보수 과정이 쉽지 않다는 것이다. 이에 본 표준에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있도록 상기 기술한 장치의 초기 환경 설정 및 유지 보수 기능을 지원하는 시스템 구조 및 프로토콜을 정의한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | Recently, domestic and foreign home appliance manufacturers are trying to provide
various internet services with their products. For example, one of health care manufacturers connects weighing machine to the internet using Wi-Fi. If a user registers one’s information through the internet, the weighing machine uploads the user weight information to the manufacturer’s server after measuring the weight and body fat. And then the user can watch and check one’s weight log easily on smart devices. However, initial configuration and maintenance of such devices could be the hardest part for the elders who are not used to control high-tech devices, which makes harder to provide high-quality service. Therefore, this standard suggest a solution to such a problem by defining system structure and protocol message which support the device initial configuration and maintenance to provide various internet services of the home network appliances connected to internet environment. |
