| 한글내용요약 | 범용 컨테이너 포맷인 OCF는 연관된 파일의 집합을 수집하여 하나의 파일 컨테이너로 모은다. OCF는 다양한 문서 포맷과 애플리케이션 클래스에서 파일들을 수집하는 데 사용될 수 있다. 단일한 파일 컨테이너는 파일 집합의 용이한 전송과 관리, 그리고 랜덤 액세스(Random access)를 가능하게 한다.
OCF는 파일의 추상적 집합(‘추상 컨테이너’)을 ZIP 아카이브 (‘물리적 컨테이너’)에 물리적으로 표현하는 규칙을 정의한다. 또한 ZIP 컨테이너의 규칙은 공개 문서 포맷 (ODF: Open Document Forma) 1.0 버전에 의해 사용되는 ZIP 기술을 기반으로 작성되며 이 기술과 하위 호환성이 있다. |

| 영문내용요약 | As a general container format, OCF collects a related set of files into a single-file container. OCF can be used to collect files in various document formats and for classes of applications. The single-file container enables easy transport of, management of, and random access to, the collection.
OCF defines the rules for how to represent an abstract collection of files (the “abstract container”) into physical representation within a ZIP archive (the “physical container”). The rules for ZIP containers build upon and are backward compatible with the ZIP technologies used by Open Document Format (ODF) 1.0. |
