Requirements Spec. for Computer Servers에서 제시하는 서버 종류별 유휴 상태의 소모 전력을 기반으로 각 서버 종류별 유휴 상태의 소모 전력 효율을 산정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 유휴 상태의 소모 전력 외에도, 작업 부하가 가해질 때의 소모 전력 대비 성능을 벤치마킹 하는 기준으로 사용되고 있는 SPEC SERT를 이용한 성능 시험 결과를 기반으로 하여 실제 성능 효율 점수를 산정하는 지표를 제시하여 서버 제품의 유휴 상태 및 부하 상태의 전력 효율을 비교할 수 있는 기준을 제시하고 있다. | ||
