| 한글내용요약 | EPUB 표준은 HTML, CSS, JavaScript 등의 웹 콘텐츠 표준을 기반으로 정의되었기에, 전자책 접근성 가이드 역시 웹 접근성 표준 규격들을 준수하여야 한다.
본 표준의 지침은 2016년에 TTA “독서 장애인을 위한 전자책 접근성 가이드 - 제1부: 저작 지침” 표준 규격이 마련된 후, 2016년 하반기부터 2019년 상반기까지 새롭게 정의되거나 개정된 전자책 접근성 표준 규격들을 반영하여 정리하였다. 또한 전자책 제작자의 이해를 돕기 위해 각 항목별로 국립장애인도서관의 접근성 전자책 도서 내용을 예제 코드로 포함하였으며, 각 지침과 지침의 요건을 구현하는 방법을 추가로 제공하였다. 특히 접근성 전자책 저작지침에 “데이지자료 제작지침”의 일부 항목을 추가하는 이유는 국내 장애인들에게 무료지원되는 단말기가 데이지 규격만 지원하고 있기 때문이다. 따라서, 데이지자료의 접근성 항목에 익숙해진 사용자에게 접근성 전자책에서도 이에 준하는 사용 경험을 전달하기 위하여, EPUB 표준에 위반되지 않으면서, 필요한 몇몇 항목들을 차용하였다. 결과적으로 EPUB 사용 경험 여부 및 EPUB에 익숙한 정도와 관계없이 독서 장애인도 모든 콘텐츠 요소에 접근이 가능하도록 전자책을 만드는 데 활용할 수 있도록 표준을 구성하였다. |

| 영문내용요약 | As the EPUB standard has defined based on the web content standards like HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, etc., accessibility guidelines on the e-book also should follow the specification of web accessibility standards.
This standard revised as reflecting the changed and enhanced items or descriptions of each accessibility reference from 2016 to 2019 which is the period since after the initial released-date of 1st edition. In addition, this provides sample codes reflecting accessibility epub content of "National Library for the Disabled" on many chapters and even this indicates the actual ways to confirm the guideline items to help authors or producers to understand it deeply. The reason why this contains some items (not against the standard of epub 3 specification) of "Guide to Text-Daisy Publishing" is, the device which is free-distributed for the disabled in Korea supports only daisy specification. Thus, this may aim at the users that are familiar with accessibility items related to daisy to make them have also similar experience in EPUB 3-based e-book. As a result, this standard can be used to be guided for authoring more accessible contents in order for that the prospective users that may have reading-disabilities with(or without) the experience of EPUB would access to every content item unrestrictedly. |
