| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 AIS 에 대해 소개하고 AIS 의 목적 및 AIS 개발과 관련한 성능 표준 및 시험 표준 등을 기술하고, 데이터 전송 프로토콜, VHF 데이터 링크, 데이터 교환 과정, AIS 데이터의 표출, AIS 서비스와 관련 메시지를 제시하여 AIS 가 어떻게 동작하는지를 설명한다.
또한 이동 AIS 기지국 및 고정 AIS 기지국에 대해 언급하고 AIS의 기본 서비스를 제시하기 위한 커버리지 고려사항, AIS 네트워크 및 장치의 이중화에 대해 설명하고, e-내비게이션, 위성 AIS, VHF 데이터 교환 시스템(VDES) 및 전세계 해상조난안전시스템(GMDSS; Global Maritime Distress and Safety System)에서의 AIS 의 향후 개발에 대해 설명한다. 특히 이번 개정에서는 응용 메시지(ASM; Application Specific Messages), 관리 메시지, AIS의 취약성이 추가되었고, AIS 기지국으로 MOB-AIS(Man Over Board), EPIRB-AIS(Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) 장치가 추가되었다. 또한 차세대 AIS로 기술된 향후 개발에서는 VDES 개발로 수정되었다. |

| 영문내용요약 | The standard introduces what AIS is, explains the purpose of AIS and the development of AIS, and provides VHF data link, process for data exchange, display of AIS data, AIS Service and messages.
Also this describes mobile and fixed AIS stations, AIS service reporting rate, and basic AIS services which explain coverage considerations, AIS network, redundancy and vulnerability. As the future development plans, e?]Navigation, issues of satellite AIS, VHF Data Exchange System (VDES). and AIS in GMDSS are provided. The standard adds Application Specific Messages(ASM), management message and the vulnerability of AIS. MOB-AIS and EPIRB-AIS device added into AIS station category Especially. Also, the annex of AIS functionality by layer and station type is added. |
