¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | This standard presents a timing model for sources, destinations, and DetNet transit nodes. Using the model, it provides a methodology to compute end-to-end latency and backlog bounds for various queuing methods. The methodology can be used by the management and control planes and by resource reservation algorithms to provide bounded latency and zero congestion loss for the DetNet service.
It describes the Introduction in section 1 and defines terminology and definitions in section 2. It describes DetNet bounded latency model in section 3 and describes computing end-to-end delay bounds in section 4. It describes achieving zero congestion loss in section 5. In section 6, it presents a general queuing data model as well as some examples of queuing mechanisms. In section 7, it provides an example application of the timing model presented in this document to control the admission of a DetNet flow on a DetNet-enabled IP network. And describes the security considerations to the specific QoS aspects of DetNet in section 8. References are listed in section 11. |
