¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à As cloud computing services have been expanded, a new cloud service model of cloud Desktop as a Service (DaaS), where end-users can access their desktop environments directly and independently of locations, begins to get noticed. In theservice, end-users can employ their various devices from traditional computing-oriented devices like PC and laptop to mobile devices like smart phone and PDA. Moreover, low-end devices including thin or zero clients are getting prevalent because the cloud DaaS does not require high performance devices and cannot ignore their prices.
High-quality applications (e.g. Full high-definition videos or 3D games), meanwhile, are becoming one of the major demands and end-users require to be provided with those applications through their low-performance devices. In order to support this requirement, a new architectural consideration such as a graphics acceleration in a server side is recommended.
The standard aims to introduce the concept of the architecture consideration on the graphics acceleration and suggest user and system requirements which would be basic information to implement this service
