| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 차세대 통신망에서 웹 서비스 컴포넌트의 요구 사항과 구조를 정의한다. 웹 서비스 컴포넌트는 기존의 웹 서비스를 제공하며 IP 멀티미디어 서비스 컴포넌트와 IPTV 서비스 컴포넌트와 연동하여 NGN 융합 서비스를 제공한다.
본 표준은 동일 영역에 있는 전송 자원 제어 물리 엔티티 (TRC-PE) 간의 자원 제어 요청 및 응답 메시지 교환을 위해 사용되는 자원 연결 개시 프로토콜 (RCIP, Resource Connection Initiation Protocol)을 명시한다. RCIP 프로토콜은 운영자 망에서 일련의 제어 요소 간의 연결 고리를 따라 전달되는 신호방식을 지원하기 위해 설계되었으며, 트래픽 규격, 우선순위, MPLS 레이블 정보, 가상 스위칭 연결 정보 등과 같이 가장 일반적으로 이용되는 QoS 모델 및 요구 사항 등을 수집하는 데 사용된다. 하나 또는 그 이상의 세션을 포함하는 멀티미디어 서비스 콜이 망을 통해 전달되면 전송 제어 물리 엔티티(TRC-PE)는 해당 서비스에 필요한 전송 물리 자원을 전송 물리 인티티(TPE, Transport Physical Entity)를 통해 알맞게 설정함으로써, 적절한 데이터 평면의 QoS 처리를 보장받게 된다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This standard specifies the resource connection initiation protocol (RCIP) for use to carry resource control requests and responses between transport resource control physical entities within the same domain. This protocol is designed to be able to support signalling along a chain of control elements in an operator's network for a collection of most commonly used QoS models and requirements, including (but not limited to) traffic specification, priority, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) labels and virtual switching connection information. A multimedia service call traversing the network, which comprises one or more sessions (each having application/user-specific QoS specification), will get desired QoS treatment in the data plane (i.e., the chain of transport physical entities), through the appropriate configuration of the transport physical entities by the transport resource control physical entities. | ||
