¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | This standard is a next-generation wireless LAN indoor positioning standard that advanced the wireless LAN-based indoor positioning technology using the FTM (Fine Time Measurement) function defined in the IEEE 802.11-2016 standard. The IEEE 802.11az standard has the following features:
• Defines two PPDU formats for positioning: HE ranging Null Data Packet (NDP) and HE trigger-based ranging NDP • Leverage repetition of HE-LTF signals on single-user and multi-user waveforms • Estimate the distance between a Wi-Fi terminal and an access point (AP) using Time of Departure (ToD) and Time of Arrival (ToA) timestamp-based round-trip time (RTT) information • Improved positioning accuracy using wideband channels (up to 160 MHz or 320 MHz) • Leverage multi-user capabilities defined in IEEE 802.11ax • Simultaneous acquisition of ranging information from multiple STAs using uplink/downlink OFDMA |
