¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | To protect other terrestrial and satellite radio services from the operation of VSAT earth station and to protect the transmissions of satellite services on the same satellite as the VSAT services, the standard provides the maximum permissible level of spurious emissions from VSATs.
To protect the wanted VSAT earth station signals from signals on the orthogonal polarization in the FSS, the standard provides the reference for the cross-polarizations isolation from VSATs. Taking into consideration that geostationary satellite networks in the FSS operate in the same frequency bands, the standard provides the maximum permissible level of off-axis EIRP density from VSATs to protect a geostationary satellite network in the FSS from interference by other satellite network and the efficient usage of the geostationary orbit and frequency resources. |
