¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à One of obstacles against the use of OSS is insufficient information about OSS itself in terms of applicable categories, product maturity and differential features comparing to CSS(Closed Source Code). In order to resolve this problem, several kinds of methodologies have been developed such as OSMM(Open Source Maturity Model), QSOS(Qualification and Standardization of Open Source), OpenBRR(Open Business Readiness Rating), Qualypso and so on. However, users of OSS are still confused on choosing the right maturity model for specific usage of OSS. Therefore, the standard provides a framework which defines attributes for evaluation of maturity and applicability of OSS. The attributes are divided into two categories : standard attributes and extended attributes. The standard attributes are used for general purpose of evaluation and the extended attributes are used for special purpose such as commercial and customer oriented purposes. The steps to design the standard are to evaluate existing properties and get rid of redundancy, to validate standard properties and their weights and to assess maturity and applicability.
