| 한글내용요약 | 디지털콘텐츠에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 디지털 저작권 보호 기술 특히 워터마킹의 중요성이 점점 증대하고 있다. 그러나 워터마킹 기술을 평가하는 방법에 대한 표준은 업계의 이해관계와 기술적인 어려움 때문에 아직 정비되어 있지 못하다. 워터마킹이나 포렌식 워터마킹 같은 PAT 기술을 평가할 때에는 어떤 시험 영상을 사용했으며 어떤 평가지표를 가지고 따지느냐에 따라 그 평가 결과가 달라질 수 있기 때문에 워터마킹 기술을 객관적으로 평가하기 위해서는 시험 영상의 표준화가 필수적이다.
본 표준은 워터마킹 기술을 객관적으로 평가하기 위한 표준 시험 영상 선정용 시험 항목과 각 항목에 대한 정량적 평가 지표를 제시한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | The importance of DRM technologies, especially the watermarking technology, is getting larger and larger as the demand for the digital contents increases. But the standard for the evaluation of watermark technology is not set up yet properly due to the conflicts between interested parties and technical difficulties. When evaluating the performance of watermarking technologies, the result could be vary by the image used and evaluation criteria employed. Therefore, to evaluate the performance of watermarking technologies objectively, standardizing of test images are essential. This standard provides the quantitative evaluation guidelines for the selection of standard test images which could be used to evaluate the performance of watermarking technologies objectively. | ||||||||||
