| 한글내용요약 | 이 표준은 다양한 서비스 사업자들이 새로운 서비스를 창출하는 데 공유할 수 있는 스마트방송 콘텐츠의 장면 기반 메타데이터 및 클립 검색과 클립 사용 통계에 관한 API 명세를 규정한다.
본 표준에서의 API 기능은 방송 프로그램에 관한 일반적인 정보를 제공하는 기본 콘텐츠 메타데이터 API, 세분화된 콘텐츠 단위인 장면 기반 정보를 제공하는 어드밴스드 콘텐츠 메타데이터 API, 장면에 출현하는 객체와 연관된 상세한 정보를 제공하는 부가 정보 메타데이터 API, 특정 장면과 연관된 유사한 장면들의 정보를 제공하는 연관 장면 메타데이터 API, 장면 클립에 대한 사용 통계 정보를 제공하는 통계 메타데이터 API 등의 5가지로 구분된다. 그리고 각 API 명세에서는 용도를 의미하는 개요, 요청 주소 및 요청 인자, 반환값 등을 정의한다. 본 표준은 지상파 방송사업자나 CATV/IPTV 사업자뿐만 아니라 소규모 방송사업자나 방송 관련 부가서비스 사업을 하려는 제3자 또는 1인 미디어 사업자 누구라도 API를 사용하여 스마트방송 서비스를 창출할 수 있으므로 방송 미디어 산업에 진출이 용이하게 된다. 또한 이 표준은 방송 미디어 산업 분야에만 국한되지 않고 미디어커머스, 광고, 교육, 헬스케어, 인포테인먼트 등의 다양한 이종 산업 분야에도 적용이 가능하며, 다각적인 측면에서 방송 콘텐츠 기반의 혁신적인 서비스 제공을 촉진하여 선순환적 스마트 미디어 생태계 기반 조성에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. |

| 영문내용요약 | The standard is to specify the API definition related to metadata information and video clip about broadcast content for a smart broadcast service provision. It will be served as a usable API required for innovative new service creation. The APIs defined in the standard is categorized in the following 5 areas. The basic content metadata API performs retrieval function of general broadcast program related metadata request. The advanced content metadata API performs retrieval function of scene and topic related metadata request. The additional information metadata API performs retrieval function of object metadata request such as product, person, location and music appeared in the scene on viewing. Moreover, similar scene metadata API performs retrieval function of specific scene related similar scene metadata request and statistics metadata API performs retrieval function of scene clip usage history and user’s evaluation grade. Then the specification of API describes an overview, request URL and request parameters and return values.
The standard will be used not only terrestrial broadcasting stations and CATV/IPTV broadcasting stations, but also 3rd party media providers and user as a prosumer. The applicable scope of the standard will be extended with diverse application areas such as media commerce, advertisement, education, healthcare, infortainment, and etc. Furthermore, we look forward to the standard play an important role in providing an opportunity for new broadcast media service creation and it may contribute to the construction of smart media eco-system with a virtuous cycle. |
