이동단말의 판매 후에 갱신된 PLMN 확인정보를 정확히 알릴 수 있도록 하여, 로밍을 개선시킨다. 또한 시간 관련 정보들도 단말에서 이용할 수 있도록 해준다 망확인과 시간대 기능은 PLMN에서 현재의 망확인정보, 시간, 일광절약시간 및 지역 시간대 정보를 이동단말에 전달하고, 또 이동단말에서 이러한 정보를 저장하고 이용할 수 있도록 하는 수단을 제공해준다. This feature provides the means for serving PLMNs to transfer current identity, time, Daylight Saving Time and the local timezone to Mobile Stations (MS)s, and for the MSs to store and use this information. This enhances roaming by permitting accurate indication of PLMN identities that are either newer than the Mobile Equipment (ME) or have changed their name since the ME was sold. Additionally time, Daylight Saving Time and timezone information can be utilised by MEs as desired |
