| 한글내용요약 | 고출력 반도체 소자 및 이를 이용한 집적회로의 출력 전력 특성을 비교하기 위해 측정 조건을 표준화하여 상호 비교를 하고 이를 통해 부품 선택과 판단을 정확히 하기 위함이다. 특히 고출력 반도체 소자 및 집적회로는 고출력 특성으로 인하여 열 효과 (Thermal Effect)로 인한 전류 감소 및 출력 전력 감소 현상이 있는데, 이를 막기 위해 입력 신호 및 바이어스를 일정 시간 동안 입력하여 트랜지스터가 열화되는 시간을 감소하는 방법인 펄스 모드로 측정하는 방법을 선호하고 있는 상황이다. 이와 같은 측정 방법이 고출력 반도체 소자 및 집적회로의 출력특성을 가장 정확히 측정하는 방법이다. 그러나 펄스 모드 측정 방법은 계측기의 성능과 측정 환경의 차이로 인하여 펄스의 길이, 펄스 간격 등이 천차만별이며 측정 조건이 특별히 정해져 있지 않기 때문에 각 제품을 생산하는 회사마다 측정 조건이 다르고, 이 때문에 소자 및 집적회로의 특성을 상호 비교하여 제품을 선택해야 할 경우, 정확한 판단을 하기 어려운 게 현실이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 연속파(CW: Continuous Wave) 모드 측정 방법인 평균 전력 측정 방법으로 측정한 데이터를 규격서에 추가함으로써 사용자가 제품들을 상호 비교하고 선택할 수 있도록 본 표준을 통해서 측정 방법의 가이드 라인을 제공하고자 한다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | One purpose of this standard is to standardize output power data in datasheets of products and measurement methods to compare output power characteristics of semiconductor devices. Eventually this standard is to select the right wanted product from measured data by the same measurement conditions. And another purpose is to use for output power comparison between their performances of some papers, products, etc.
Pulsed measurements can extend to regions outside the safe operation area without stressing or damaging the device. If the pulses are sufficiently short, there is no permanent change in the characteristic curves. With pulses, the range of the measured characteristic curves can often extend to encompass completely the signal excursions experienced during the large-signal operation of devices. Pulsed measurements are used to acquire characteristic curves that are free of dispersion effects. However, the pulse widths and pulse durations of pulse measurements are very different in datasheets of products. On the other hand, average power measurements are very simple methods comparing with pulse measurements. Therefore, average power measurements are to select the right wanted product from measured data by the same measurement conditions and to use for output power comparison between their performances of some papers, products, etc. |
