| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 본문에서 첫째 DAISY(Digital Accessible Information SYstem) 문서를
TTS(Text-To-Speech) 엔진을 통해 자동적으로 음성 출력하거나 점역 소프트웨어에 의 해 자동적으로 점자로 표시될 때 발생할 수 있는 내용 전달상의 문제와 사용성 측면에서 의 제한점을 기술함으로써 본 표준의 제정 필요성을 제시한다. 둘째, 콘텐츠 제작자가 DAISY 문서의 특정 부분에 대해 발음 방식과 음성의 빠르기나 높이를 지정할 수 있는 ‘음성 출력 정의’ 규격과 음성 출력 제어와 관련된 정보를 별도의 파일에 저장하기 위한 방법을 정의한다. 셋째, 콘텐츠 제작자가 DAISY 문서의 특정 부분에 대해 점형을 지정하 고 점자 인쇄기나 점자 표시 장치로 출력되도록 할 수 있는 ‘점자 표시 정의’ 규격과 관 련 데이터를 별도의 파일에 저장하기 위한 방법을 정의한다. 넷째, ‘점자 표시 정의’ 규 격을 응용해 동영상 플레이어에서 점자 자막을 표시하기 위해 SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) 파일 내에 점자 자막 표시를 지정하는 방법을 제시한 다. 아울러, 부록에서는 DAISY 문서에서 음성 출력과 점자 표시를 정의하고 해당 데이터를 별도의 파일에 기술하는 것과 관련된 구현 사례를 제시한다. 또한 DAISY 표준 (Specifications for the Digital Talking Book)의 확장 기능으로서 본 표준에서 정의한 XML(eXtensible Markup Language) 구성 요소에 관한 DTD(Document Type Definition) 을 제시한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This standard is composed of five parts. First, to show the necessity of this
standard, detailed description is made that automatic speech output by TTS(Text-To-Speech) engine and braille display form produced by braille translator can cause readibility problem in certain situations. Second, it defines XML specification for an alternative material transcriber to determine speech output such as pronunciation, speech rate or pitch at a certain part of DAISY contents and store related data in a file. Third, it defines specification to control braille display form at a certain part of DAISY contents and save the related data in a file. Fourth, as an application of specification for controlling braille display form it defines the expression of braille caption in video contents via SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language). Fifth, in appendices, examples are provided to determine speech output and braille display form at a part of DAISY contents and store the related data in a file with XML-structured form. Also, to build an extension of DAISY specification(Specifications for the Digital Talking Book), XML DTD(Document Type Definition) is attached, which contains the definitions of all the XML(eXtensible Markup Language) elements. |
