¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à As an Ethernet-based connection-oriented packet transport technology, this standard splits backbone VLAN space of provider backbone bridged network into one run by distributed spanning tree protocol and the other controlled by provisioning, and specifies procedures and managed objects to set up point-to-point and point-to-multipoint Ethernet Switched Paths (ESPs) within the backbone VLAN space controlled by provisioning. And, this standard extends TTAE.IE-802.1ag CFM to support OAM for ESPs and defines a protocol to support 1:1 protection switching for point-to-point ESPs. This standard is confined to operate within a single provider backbone bridged network domain.
