| 한글내용요약 | 레이더 주파수 대역에 대한 표준 문자 명칭은 1976년에 처음 안건화되어 마이크로파 사용자의 문자 대역 명칭이 레이더에 오용되어 개발되는 혼동을 피하고자 작성되었다. 본 표준은 사용자가 나타내려는 주파수 범위를 공용되는 문자 용어와 관계가 있다. 1984년판 표준 문서에서는 주파수에 대한 이전의 문자 명칭은 유지하면서 밀리미터파 영역에 -V대역와 W-대역를 포함하여 정의했다. 현재 2002년판 수정 문서에서는 대역 문자 명칭은 그대로 유지하면서도 ITU 명칭을 따르고자 밀리미터파 주파수 정의의 바뀐 부분을 포함하고 <표 3-1>의 노트를 수정하였다.< 표 3-1>은 Region 2에 덧붙여진 Region 1과 Region 3을 포함하여 국제적 응용 분야를 위해 수정하였다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | The Standard Letter Designations for Radar-Frequency Bands was first issued in 1976 and was written to remove the confusion that developed from the misapplication to radar of letter common usage to the frequency ranges that they represent. The 1984 revision defined the application V and W to a portion of the millimeter wave region while retaining the previous letter designators for frequencies below the millimeter region. This revision keeps the same letter band designation, and revises the notes to Table 1. Table 1 has been modified for international application by including Region 1 and 3 in addition to Region 2. | ||
