| 한글내용요약 | 3GPP 이동 통신 기반의 M2M 시스템에서는 이동 통신 시스템에서 식별자로 사용하고 있는 MSISDN, IMEI, IMSI를 그대로 사용하여 M2M 디바이스를 식별하고 있으나, M2M 디바이스 개수가 급격하게 증가하면, E.164에 기반한 MSISDN은 개수의 한계가 있어 기존의 전화번호를 이용한 M2M 디바이스 식별 방식은 많은 문제점을 가지게 된다.
본 표준은 이러한 문제점 및 요구 사항을 분석하며, 3GPP 이동 통신 시스템 기반의 M2M 디바이스가 현재 사용하고 있는 전화번호를 대체할 수 있는 M2M 식별 체계를 분석하고, 향후 M2M 디바이스의 개수가 폭발적으로 증가하여도 충분히 M2M 디바이스를 수용할 수 있는 M2M 식별 체계 방안과 고려 사항을 기술한다. 주요 내용으로는 기존의 M2M 서비스를 위해 사용 중인 M2M 식별자의 종류 및 특징을 분석하고, 향후 M2M 디바이스의 개수가 증가하는 경우 생기는 문제점 및 요구 사항을 기술한다. 기술한 문제점을 해결하고 요구 사항을 만족시키기 위한 M2M 식별 체계 방안과 이를 위한 고려 사항을 기술한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | To provide M2M services in 3GPP mobile communication systems, MSISDN, IMEI, IMSI are used as M2M identifier. If M2M devices are increasing rapidly, the number of MSISDN based on E.164 is limited and it has many problems.
This standard analyzes the problems and requirements of M2M identifiers and describes the alternatives of M2M identifiers for a large number of M2M devices.
