¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | This document describes DPNSS1/DASS2-User Adaptation Layer (DUA). DUA defines a mechanism for the backhauling of DPNSS1/DASS2 message over IP using Stream Control Transmission Protocol(SCTP). This document describes the extensions of the ISDN User Adaptation(IUA) Layer Protocol defined in RFC 3057 for supporting DPNSS1/DASS2. DPNSS 1, specified in BNTR 188, is used to interconnect Private Branch Exchanges(PBX) in a private network and DASS 2, specified in BTNR 190, is used to connect PBXs to the PSTN. This protocol may be used between a Signaling Gateway(SG) and a Media Gateway Controller(MGC) in case that the SG receives DPNSS L3 signaling message over a standard DPNSS L2 interface. So, MGC can control the PBX access call over a DPNSS L2 interface without the Local Exchange(LE) of the legacy PSTN. It is for migrating from the high-cost legacy circuit network to the IP-based packet network. | ||||||||||
