| 한글내용요약 | IEEE 802.11n은 IEEE802.11-2007의 개정판이다. IEEE802.11n은 기존 802.11 표
준 위에 MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) 와 40MHz 채널 대역폭을 가진 물리 계층(physical layer), 맥 계층(MAC layer)의 프레임 결합(frame aggregation) 기술을 추가하여 만들어졌다. 본 표준은 2.4GHz 및 5GHz ISM 대역에서 동작하는 무선랜 매체 접속 제어 (MAC) 및 물리계층 (PHY) 규격으로 최대 600Mbps의 무선 전송속 도를 제공한다. 또한 11Mbps 및 54Mbs 급 기존 무선랜 전송규격과 보안, 품질 등 을 제공하기 위한 기술규격을 모두 정의하고 있다. |

802.11 standard adopts MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output), 40MHz bandwidth physical layer, and frame aggregation in MAC layer technologies. This standard, which includes MAC and PHY, supports wireless transmission speeds up to 600Mbps in 2.4GHz and 5GHz ISM band.
