| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 IS들 사이의 점대점 링크들이 풀 메쉬로 연결된 망에 메쉬그룹을 적용하여 LSP의 flooding을 줄이는 방법을 정의한다.IETF의 RFC2973 IS-IS Mesh Group 문서는 점대점 링크들이 풀 메쉬 토폴로지로 연결되어 있을 때 메쉬 그룹을 정의하여 LSP 중복 전달 현상을 줄이는 기능을 규정하고있다. IS 들이 풀 메쉬로 연결되어 있는 망에서 몇 개의 IS들을 메쉬 그룹으로 묶고 이들 메쉬 그룹을 연결하는 링크들 중 하나만 상태를 ‘meshInactive’로 설정하고 나머지는‘meshBlocked’로 설정하여 각 메쉬 그룹간에 ‘meshInactive’인 링크로만 LSP를 전달하므로 LSP 중복을 줄이는 방법이다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | This document describes a mechanism to reduce redundant packet transmissions for the Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS) Routing protocol, as described in ISO 10589. The described mechanism can be used to reduce the flooding of Link State PDUs (Protocol Data Units) (LSPs) in IS-IS topologies. The net effect is to engineer a flooding topology for LSPs which is a subset of the physical topology. This document serves to document the existing behavior in deployed implementations. The document describes behaviors that are backwards compatible with implementations that do not support this feature. | ||
