| 한글내용요약 | LDAP은 클라이언트가 분산 디렉토리 시스템에 저장된 정보를 조회하고 수정하기 위한 수단을 제공한다. 이 디렉토리에 있는 정보는 엔트리의 속성으로 유지된다. 이런 속성의 대부분은 인간이 읽을 수 있는 구문을 가지며, 속성값과 관련된 자연어로 표시할 수 있는 것이 바람직하다.
본 표준에서는 언어코드가 어떻게 LDAP으로 전달되고, LDAP 서버에 의해 해석되어야 하는지를 설명한다 |

| 영문내용요약 | The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol provides a means for clients to interrogate and modify information stored in a distributed directory system. The information in the directory is maintained as attributes of entries. Most of these attributes have syntaxes which are human-readable strings, and it is desirable to be able to indicate the natural language associated with attribute values.
This standard describes how language codes are carried in LDAP and are to be interpreted by LDAP servers |
