| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 DWDM 장치를 기반으로 하여 구축되는 광 전달망 (Optical Transport Network)의 오버헤드 신호 처리에 관한 것이다. 광 전달망은 디지틀 도메인과 광학 도메인으로 구성되며 디지틀 도메인에서는 디지틀 프레임내에 유지보수 및 시스템 운용관리를 위한 오버헤드 신호가 포함되어 있다. 그러나 광학 도메인에서는 광학적으로 오버헤드 신호처리가 어려워 별도의 오버헤드 채널 장치 (Optical Supervisory Channel)가 필요하게 된다. 본 표준에서는 광학 도메인에서 요구되는 오버헤드 신호를 G.872에서 정의한 OTN의 계층적 구조에 따라 분류되는 광전송구간 (Optical Transmission Section) 계층, 광 다중구간 (Optical Multiplex Section) 계층 및 광 채널 계층에 대한 오버헤드를 정의하고 오버헤드의 기능 및 적용 방법 및 오버헤드를 수송하는 신호 프레임의 구조, OSC의 광학적/전기적 특성 등을 국내 통신환경에 적합한 기준을 제시하고 국내 개발 장치간 또는 도입 장비간 시스템 호환성을 유지할 수 있도록 함이 그 목적이다 | ||
| 영문내용요약 | This document describes an optical supervisory channel carrying OTM overheads over OTN based on the DWDM systems. The OTN has a layered network architecture which are consisted of digital domain layer and optical domain layer separately. In digital domain the network elements contain overhead bytes which are included in their own digital frames. In optical domain, there is no way to carry overhead signal to maintain the all optical network. Therefore an extra optical supervisory channel is required to perform overhead functions as that in digital domain based network elements. Accordingly, this document defines overheads related to OTN maintenance, overhead functions and applications for OTS, OMS and OCh layer recommended by G.872. Furthermore, STM-1 frame structure of OSC and some parameters for optical and electrical interface are also defined.
