국내에 특히 정보통신 시설 분야의 접지기술과 관련 아직까지 일률적이고 체계적으로 정해진
단체표준이 수립되어 있지 못하다. 접지시설은 직접 눈에 잘 뜨이지 않는 기술 분야이지만 시설
피해 방지와 안정된 서비스 유지, 그리고 인명 보호 차원에서 매우 중요한 의미를 가지고 있는
기술로서 앞으로 개발해 나아가야 할 많은 표준화 부문이 존재하고 있다. 본 표준은 그 중에서
도 접지시설의 성능을 결정하는 기본 요소인 접지저항에 대한 측정 방법에 관한 것이다.
접지저항의 측정에 관한 기술요소는 측정 특성에 영향을 미치는 토양의 구성등 현장 대지 특성
의 환경 변수와 접지전극에 상당한 접지체의 시설 유형등 매우 다양한 조건 변수에 의하여 형성
된다. 본 표준에서는 이러한 복잡한 요소들에 의한 핵심적 기능에 관한 기본 기술규격을 설정하
고 현장에서 응용하여 시행할 수 있는 측정 방법등을 제시한다.

영문내용요약

No uniformed and systematic group standard has been put in place in Korea until now,
especially what is related to grounding technology of information & telecommunication facility.
The grounding facility, a significant technology that we have to develop for the protection of
human lives as well as the prevention of damage to facility and maintenance of stable service,
needs a lot of standardization. This standard is about the method to measure ground
resistance, which is a component basic to the determination of grounding facility.
The component of technology about measuring ground resistance is determined by various
conditional variables such as ground body's facility type, etc, equivalent to ground electrode
and environmental variables that has site land character such as the structure of soil, which
affects the character of measurement. This standard sets forth basic technical standard for
the core functions enabled by such complex components, and presents the method of
measurement that can be applied at the site.
