This standard provides useful information on error performance objectives for real digital fixed wireless links used in 27,500 km hypothetical reference paths (HRP) and connections including national paths and international paths. This standard provides errored second ratio (ESR) and severely errored second ratio (SESR) which are related to error performance objectives depend on the lengths of reference paths. It is the only standard defining error performance objectives for real digital fixed wireless links. Examples of calculations of the error performance parameters to refer error performance objectives of digital FWS are given in Annex 1 at the stage of system design, and Annex 2 in case of interference from other radio services sharing the same frequency bands on a co-primary basis. |
