This standard provides the rules to catalogue feature types, feature operations, feature attributes, and feature associations of all the features contained in the GIS DB of geographic information-maintaining agencies. As a result of it, effective geographic information maintenance is possible in the agencies, and the common use of the information between agencies is able to be remarkably promoted. |
