¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à SIP is a signalling protocol for creating, modifying, and terminating different types of sessions, such as Internet phone calls, and multimedia conferences. SIP sessions have needs for session authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA). In order to authenticate and authorize users, it is typically more convenient for SIP entities to communicate with an AAA sever than to attempt to store user credentials and profiles locally. This standard provides requirements for the interface between SIP entities and AAA servers.
