The addition of technologies, such as digital signatures, makes verifiable credentials more tamper-evident. The standard describes core data model and trust model about verifiable credential. And the standard describes basic concepts, advanced concepts and various consideration for privacy and security. Furthermore, it specifies JSON and JSON-LD syntax for verifiable credentials.
