This standards concerned with designing metadata for distribution of grid data were extensively designed to meet other additional requirements in compliance with the international standards. Satellite images and their metadata defined in the standards present further details such as contents, qualities and services for spatial information so that it may be easy to access to the information meeting users' requirements, shorten the sending and receiving process of unnecessary information, and improve the efficiency of distributing satellite images and their metadata.
The goal of this standards is to support the efficient distribution of satellite images and their related metadata. |
