This technical report summarizes the standardization trend for the high definition maps and the standardization trend for dynamic map information delivered through V2X, and then compares the content of representative standards. As a standard for the comparison, the high definition map data model of the NGII and the SAE J2735 MAP message specification are used.
In addition, this technical report organizes and proposes conceptual scenarios for extracting and utilizing dynamic map information from the high definition maps. Based on these comparisons and suggestions, this technical report proposes topics that can be discussed in the future standardization process along with a direction to further expand the usefulness of the high definition maps. |
