Six major functional aspects are described in detail that must be provided by the network, the infrastructure of grid environment(such as high throughput, function control, dynamic network support allocation and reservation, high accessability, security considerations, and multi cast), as well as two aspects that were pointed out by the grid networking community(such as 'sensor network & wireless technology' and the grid traffic).
