사용자가 눈으로 보는 사물이나 지형에 대해 추가적인 정보를 덧붙여 보여주는 기술인 증강현실에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 이러한 증강현실 서비스를 제공하기 위한 수단으로 스마트 글래스(Smart Glasses)가 주목을 받고 있다.
스마트 글래스는 착용형 소형 장치이므로 영상 처리나 이미지 처리를 자체적으로 수행하기에 무리가 있다. 따라서 사용자에게 원활한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 컴퓨팅 리소스가 충분한 서버와 협업을 하여 스마트 글래스의 제한된 리소스를 극복해야 한다.
본 표준은 스마트 글래스를 이용하여 사용자에게 증강현실 서비스를 제공하는 환경에서, 서버 또는 빅데이터 플랫폼과의 협업을 통해 영상이나 이미지 정보를 처리하는 과정에서 사용되는 스마트 글래스와 다중 서버 간 통신 미들웨어 QoS(Quality of Service) 관리 기법을 기술한다.

There is a growing interest in augmented reality technology appending additional information about the object or location user sees, Smart Glasses attract attention as a device for augmented reality service.
Because Smart Glasses are wearable small device, it is hard to process vision or image by itself. So, limited resource of Smart Glasses has to be overcome through collaborating with a server which has sufficient resource to offer user service smoothly.
This standard describes communication middleware QoS(Quality of Service) management technique between Smart Glasses and multiple server to process vision or image through collaborating with Big-data platform or server in conditions Smart Glasses provides augmented reality service to user.
