¿µ¹® ³»¿ë¿ä¾à A standard of maximum power transfer efficiency for a short-range wireless power transfer using a magnetic field is presented. In this standard, only two types of wireless power transfer systems that transmit power using two coils and four coils are considered.
First of all, figure of merit (FoM) in a short-range wireless power transfer system using a non-radiative magnetic field is defined and the maximum power transfer efficiency of the system using a non-radiative magnetic field is proposed using the FoM.
The maximum power transfer efficiency according to FoMs of WPT systems is presented in a table and the maximum power transfer according to a proposed system can be found using the table. Also, the table of the FoM and the maximum power transfer efficiency can be used as an evaluation standard of system power transfer efficiency.
