This standard specifies in-building emergency alert system that effectively delivers emergency alert to the people inside. The system controls the in-building public announcement system to deliver the alert. The system consists of a server and a receiver. In order to present the requirements, the standard proposes a structure of a reference model. Next, the standard describes each component of the structure and specifies the interface requirements.
